Fy: Sand played in 36 games for the Pipers, starting 33. He had 28 hits off of 98 at bats. He hit four doubles and 14 RBI’s and scored 11 runs. Sand led the team in fielding percentage with  a .981 percentage.

In high school, Sand was named to the Classic Suburban All-Conference team his senior year. His season stats included a .308 batting average, nine RBIs, and 24 strike outs…Sand’s major is management. He is the son of Richard and Mary Sand.
