Aaron Thompson …Last season, Thompson played in 35 games for the Pipers and started 34 of them. He capped of the season with a .404 slugging percentage after his 26 hits resulted in seven doubles, two triples, and one home run. He was fourth on the team for doubles and triples. Thompson scored 31 runs, which was the second most runs scored for the season. He also led the team in stolen bases with 16…In 2005, Thompson played in 34 games, starting 33 times. He had a .262 batting average with six doubles, three triples, and a home run. He scored 18 runs and had 11 RBIs. Thompson had seven multiple-hit games, including a 3-for-5 performance against the University of Dallas on Mar. 19. He was 2-for-3 with a homer and three runs scored against St. Mary’s on April 17…In 2004, Thompson was named All-MIAC honorable mention after playing and starting in 33 games. He batted .362 with nine doubles, a triple, and a home run. Thompson scored 29 runs and knocked in 10. Thompson had 11 multi-hit games. He went 4-for-5 with three runs scored against Northwestern College on April 14. He was 3-for-4 in games against Valley City State (March 4) and Concordia (April 7)…Thompson is a biology major. He is the son of Larry and Jean Thompson.
