Josh Roiger…Last season, Roiger had a slugging percentage of .495. He had 31 hits off of 91 at bats, four of which were doubles and five which were triples. He scored 20 runs and had eight RBIs to cap off a great season at bat. At the mound, he led the Pipers with the most wins, eight. After tying Hamline’s all time pitching wins record (eight), setting the innings pitched record (67), and setting a new season strikeout record (54), Roiger was named to the All-MIAC first team …In 2005, Roiger was named All-MIAC honorable mention after playing in 28 games, pitching in 12 games. He started also started 17 times in the outfield. Roiger batted .327 with a triple. He added 11 runs scored and 13 RBIs. On the mound, Roiger posted a 4-3 record with a 4.91 ERA. He fanned 33 and walked 13 in 44 innings pitched. He allowed just one earned run in 7.1 innings against Bethel on April 30. Roiger went 6.0 innings allowing one earned run to earn his first career victory against Nebraska Wesleyan on March 18. At the plate, Roiger was 3-for-6 with four RBIs and two runs scored against Crown on April 27…Roiger is an economics and management major. He is the son of John Roiger and Teresa Davenport.
