Academic Advising
Each student at the Hamline University Graduate School of Management is assigned an academic advisor, who is available to meet with him or her as needed. Advisors help students with academic matters such as mapping academic plans and handling schedule conflicts.
Admission letters inform newly-admitted students of their advisors. Students are strongly encouraged to set up appointments with their advisors soon thereafter to discuss their academic plans. Students are normally expected to initiate contact with their advisors and to consult with them at least twice a year. Students may change advisors with the approval of the appropriate program director or the Dean.
If you are not sure who your advisor is, contact the Graduate School of Management staff by phone at 651-523-2284 or e-mail (Send E-mail to the Graduate School of Management).
