Online Application: Admission to the Hamline University Graduate School of ManagementBefore Starting Your Online Application

Make sure you know what the application deadlines and the required application materials are. Your application file will not be reviewed until we receive all supporting materials.

Note: The application fee is waived for online applications.
 

What Can Be Submitted Online?

    • Personal information: Personal data, educational data, references, and optional information.
    • Personal statement, professional résumé, and writing sample: You can cut and paste the text for your personal essay and professional résumé from another application (for example MS Word) into the online application form. Although you can submit these materials online, you may choose to send them to the Hamline University Office of Graduate Admission. If you do so, please note that in the appropriate section of the online application.

What Must Be Mailed Separately?

    • Official transcripts, sent directly from the institution. (Personal copies are not accepted. You do not need to supply transcripts for courses taken at Hamline University)
    • Official or certified English translations for transcripts in languages other than English
    • For international applicants, official transcripts and, if transcripts are in a language other than English, official or certified translations to English. (Personal copies are not accepted)
    • Letters of recommendation, sent directly by recommenders
    • For international applicants whose native language is not English, an official TOEFL score, sent directly from Educational Testing Service. (Results mailed to the applicant are not accepted)
    • International applicants must also mail proof of financial support (with bank statements or other financial support documentation) for visa application purposes
    • Any other supplemental material you wish the admission committee to consider
