Program Components
Achievement of the Hamline MBA requires successful completion of four core modules (40 hours) plus two additional courses /electives (8 hours). A third elective course (4 hours) can be used to create a program of Specialized Studies or Concentration.
Core Modules
- Module 1: Leading People with Integrity and Purpose
Developing the leadership skills needed to harness and direct the energies of people within an organization and its environment.
- Module 2: Managing and Leveraging Organizational Finances and Operations
Developing the analytical, forecasting and budgeting skills needed to effectively utilize and streamline organizational resources.
- Module 3: Understanding External Environments for Long-term Success
Developing the knowledge and skills needed to manage external realities and successfully compete in market and non-market environments.
- Module 4: Strategic and Entrepreneurial Management
Developing the skills needed to effectively and efficiently steer an organization through long-term success and growth.
Program Delivery
The Hamline MBA is designed to be completed in 21 months. The typical cycle is as follows:
- Module 1: 16 weeks
- Module 2: 16 weeks
- Module 3: 16 weeks
- Elective Module/Specialized Studies: 16 weeks
- Module 4: 16 weeks
The program is tailored to meet the scheduling needs of working professionals. Evening classes, an online component, and campuses in Saint Paul and Minneapolis provide flexibility for busy adults.
