Volunteer s Management

This course focuses on the dynamics of volunteerism in nonprofit organizations and in the life of the community. The course will examine definitions, values, standards and what constitutes effective practice in the field of volunteer resources management today. Students will also consider challenges, opportunities and expectations for the future of the field. While the course is especially designed for current or future executives and managers of nonprofit organizations, it will also benefit others who plan to work with volunteers and those who want to develop their own vision for the field of volunteerism.
