What is a Dual Degree Program in Law & Management?
In collaboration with the Hamline University School of Law, the Hamline University Graduate School of Management offers law students the opportunity to earn two degrees which combine law with public administration, management (business sector), or nonprofit management.
Dual degree programs in Law & Management save time and money: Hamline University School of Law students pursuing dual degrees may transfer the equivalent of four Graduate School of Management courses (16 credits) from their law courses into their Master of Arts in Public Administration, Management, or Nonprofit Management degree program. Students complete eight core courses in their chosen degree at the Graduate School of Management.
Who are Dual Degree Programs in Law & Management for?
Hamline University law students who have completed one year of study at the Hamline School of Law, and who have grade point average of 2.5 or higher, may apply to a Dual Degree Program in Law & Management.

- Dual Degree in Law & Public Administration (JD/MAPA)
- Dual Degree in Law & Management (JD/MAM)
- Dual Degree in Law & Nonprofit Management (JD/MANM)
- Dual Degree in Law & Public Administration (LLM/MAPA) for International Lawyers
- Dual Degree in Law & Management (LLM/MAM) for International Lawyers
- Dual Degree in Law & Nonprofit Management (LLM/MANM) for International Lawyers
