MFAC Courses & Registration Information

mfac imageRegistration for the Low-Residency MFA in Writing for Children & Young Adults program is a quick and easy online process. Please read these instructions and helpful tips thoroughly before registering.

Registration tips:

  • Winter & Spring registration is open Monday, November 16. Registration is done via Piperline, Hamline's secure online system. (How to login to Piperline)

  • Register for BOTH the residency ("Winter 2010") and the semester work ("Spring 2010") together. Please do not register for one and not the other. Note: You must register for one term at a time in the Piperline system. Choose "select term" to enter winter; submit reၼgistration; "select term" again for spring.

  • Obtain the correct course numbers from the chart below. Please be sure to carefully match the appropriate CRNs with the residency (I-V) and the semester work (I-IV) that you will be going into. Example, if this is your second residency, select "Residency II, and so on. This is very important for accurate section counts as well as transcription and degree completion.
