Optional Book Arts Sessions with Georgia Greeley
Hamline University Summer Writers' Workshop

Learn some basics about making handmade books in an informal, project-oriented session. This year participants will bind and embellish one blank journal, learning a variety of book arts skills. Choose from one of two afternoon (2 1/2 hour) sessions. PLEASE NOTE, the same journal/content will be taught both sessions.

Georgia Greeley is a writer and visual artist from Saint Paul. She is a charter member of Laurel Poetry Collective and has published children's short stories as well as fiction, poetry, and memoir. Her first collection of poetry, Soundings, was published in February of 2006. Georgia completed her first letterpress edition in September 2006, a poetry chapbook titled, Among the Displaced, writtenby Robert T. Laudon. It was published under her press name, Artichoke Press. She completed an MFA at Hamline in 2001.
