    Experience Hamline University during Fall Visit Days!

    Thursday or Friday | October 16 or 17

    Breakfast and check-in will start at 8:30 a.m. in the Anderson Center Forum. Formal program to begin at 9:15 a.m. 

    We've created an interactive experience. Don't just visit Hamline, become a Piper for a day!

    - Learn about a faculty adventure on study abroad

    - Walk through a "Day in the Life" of a Hamline student

    - Make contacts: internships at Hamline

    - Tour campus and feast over lunch with student hosts in the Anderson Center Bishop's Bistro

    - and much more!

    Day in the Life of a Hamline Student

    From student activities to classes and internships, every student's Hamline experience is different. Follow a photographic journey of three current Hamline students to see how they spend a typical (or not-so-typical) day at Hamline.

     Financial Aid 101 for Parents and Families

    A Hamline education is an investment that changes a student's life. Hear from our Financial Aid and Admission staff and get your financial aid questions answered. 

    The Hamline Plan: Faculty Panel

    At Hamline, students receive personal attention from faculty members at the top of their field. Learn about Hamline's core curriculum and unique award-winning approach to experiential learning and the liberal arts.

    Make Contacts: Internships and Career Connections at Hamline

    The Career Development Center assists students from first year to senior year as they explore, prepare for, and make successful transitions to life after Hamline. Find out how the department works with Pipers to intentionally connect their passions with internship experiences and professional skills.

    Study Abroad: A Faculty and Student Adventure

    Want to see the world? Hamline has a wide variety of study abroad programs ranging from J-Term and May Term classes to semester-long and Hamline exchange programs. Attend this session to learn more from a faculty member and student who recently returned from a J-Term experience!

     

     

  • News

    One of the cornerstones of a Hamline University education is high impact learning, which is a set of best practices internationally recognized for student success. These practices include internships, collaborative research with faculty, first year seminars, capstone courses, and study abroad programs.

    Hamline’s orientation staff is busy preparing first year students for the whole college experience with Piper Preview and Piper Passages orientation sessions.

    New agreements with the City of St. Paul and the St. Paul Saints give Hamline baseball access to premiere facilities for training, practice, and home games starting in 2015.
