Steven Read is an artist and theatrical technician from Hastings, MN. He holds an MFA in Sculpture from Penn State University and BFAs from the University of Minnesota Duluth in Sculpture & Ceramics and Scenic Design. He is active in his local arts committee as a City of Hastings Arts and Culture Commissioner, Hastings Prescott Arts Council board member, and Black Dirt Theater's scenic designer and technical director. His free time is spent gardening, exploring nature, and going to events with his wife and son.
