Sadie Berlin (she/her/hers) is the Food Resource Center Coordinator at Hamline University. In this role, she coordinates the Center in managing its staff members while upholding the Center’s mission to “increase awareness of food insecurity on college campuses, increase food access for Hamline community, and create a center that provides other resources to help students meet their basic needs in a manner that strives to uphold dignity and works towards food sovereignty.”

Sadie graduated from Hamline University in 2023, receiving a BA in public health and a minor in religious studies. During her undergraduate, she was involved with various social justice-oriented organizations both on campus and locally. She also conducted research abroad in which she completed a research paper regarding the intersection between disability and accessibility in the United Kingdom. She is passionate about social justice work and has a special interest in how the sense of ‘community and belonging’ intersects with public health initiatives and outcomes.
