    Teaching Style

Students can expect to be challenged through both hands on learning and academic study. They will learn to use a script as a source for expressing a character through costume or make up design. They will also use their knowledge of the responsibilities and vocabulary of these areas to work on Hamline Theater’s mainstage productions.

“I try to provide an environment where students can bring their own experience and interests, yet be challenged to think beyond where their current skills have brought them. Deepening their creativity can enrich every aspect of their thinking”
