University Events
Holiday Calendar
No major events are allowed on official university holidays. Offices are closed, dining services are not available, and classes are not held. Most buildings will be locked. Religious and Other Holidays Schedules 2008 - 2009 There are several other holidays in addition to the ones already designated as university holidays. Attempts are made to avoid scheduling university events on religious holidays, both in respect to the people of that faith and to maximize attendance at events. However, with the sheer multitude of events, this avoidance is not always possible. If you have questions about the appropriatness of scheduling an event on a holiday, please contact the Religious and Spiritual Life Office at 651-523-2315.
This list is not to be construed as a complete list of religious holidays. It should, however, list the major holidays of each religion that are not already designated as university holidays. This list was compiled with information provided from the Interfaith Calendar.
