"Eternal Spring"
The Oratorio Society of Minnesota, celebrating 28 years of musical leadership by Founder and Artistic Director, George S.T. Chu, will conclude its concert season with "Eternal Spring", a nostalgic collection of music expressing the human spirit. There will be two concerts that will mark the retirement of Dr. Chu from the choral organization he founded in 1980, Oratorio Society of Minnesota.
"Our May Eternal Spring concerts, preceding Mother's Day, bring some of the most beloved choral settings: the intensely expressive "Dirait-On" of Lauridsen and "Pavane" of Faure, the serene "Bluebird" of Stanford, and joyful works by American composer Copland, Chatman, and Fissinger."
- George S.T. Chu
