2009 Social Justice Symposium
This year's Social Justice Symposium will honor the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi. This week long symposium seeks to educate members of the Hamline community about social justice issues that affect the university, local, and national communities. The symposium examines the intersections and the commonalities between different social justice issues such as racism, classism, homophobia, and sexism.

Graduate Liberal Studies Professor Julie Neraas reads from her new book. Apprenticed to Hope: A Sourcebook for Difficult Times is out from Augsburg Fortress Press, and it is receiving high praise, for its content and its timeliness.
