Social Studies majors pursuing a MN teaching license at the 5-12 level must complete the course requirements for a BA in Social Studies.
The required education and content
courses for a MN 5-12 teaching license in Social Studies are listed
below. All teaching candidates are advised that completion of the
program within a four-year time frame requires careful planning. Please
seek early advising from the School of Education to plan your program.
NOTE:
If you want to co-major in education and will not student teach prior
to graduation, you need to take an additional six EDU credits.
