    What is MMERC?

    MMERC is a lending library whose mission is to assist school districts in its partner states in meeting the needs of migrant children.

    Who may access MMERC?

    The materials are available for loan to any teacher of migrant children (ages 3 to 21) in MMERC's partner states of IndianaIowa, Minnesota, Montana, and South Dakota

    What types of materials & services are available?

    • free access to over 15,000 education materials
    • audiovisuals, books, many of which are bilingual or in Spanish; games and manipulatives for hands-on learning: visit our online catalog
    • thematic multi-media unit boxes
    • teacher and parent references
    • materials appropriate for ESL (English as a Second Language)
    • state teacher workshops, inservices, or site visits to meet specific district needs or topics
    • sample material boxes / care packages

    Requesting Materials

    Patrons may order materials through selection from printed catalog or via the online catalog. A patron number is required to utilize online ordering. Paper orders may be faxed or e-mailed.
