MAEd Degree Options Not sure which MAEd option is best for you? Use the descriptions below to match your needs with the features of our four degree options. Traditional MAEd The traditional option meets on Hamline’s Saint Paul campus and is conducted in a traditional classroom setting. Online MAEd Starting in September 2012, Hamline’s MAEd program will be offered fully online. Hamline’s School of Education is both an experienced practitioner of MAEd education and online master’s degree programs. Who should enroll? Those interested in pursuing a Hamline MAEd but who have been unable to enroll in our existing program options Those interested in the exciting, interactive, collaborative, personalized learning opportunities available in an online learning environment. Off-Campus MAEd Off-campus learning communities combine online and face-to-face learning, allowing you to complete your MAEd alongside a committed group of collaborative teachers and learners in a location convenient to you. They meet two evenings and one Saturday per month close to your home and practice. Part of these meetings are online, meaning you spend less time getting to and from class and more time engaged in learning activities.
