  • Program Planning

Access the tools and forms you need to plan and complete your administrative license here.

    Program Planning Forms

Your program Planning Form, in consultation with your advisor, should be your main planning tool for licensure completion. As there is no required course sequence, reference the planning form appropriate to your concentration for a list of required courses, terms when courses are typically offered, and additional steps needed for program completion.

    Course Offerings

Select your concentration to see course descriptions, terms, and instructors for current, future, and past course offerings for required and elective courses.

    Student Handbook

Your Student Handbook is an invaluable resource for detailed information about the administrative licensure program including Minnesota and Hamline licensure requirements, licensure competencies, course descriptions, a list of affiliated faculty and staff, and much more.

    Field Experience Requirement

Do you have questions about how to fulfill your field experience requirement? More information is found in the Frequently Asked Questions and in your Student Handbook under Hamline University Requirements for Administrative Licenses.

    Exit Interview and Portfolio Requirement

Looking for information about your required exit interview and accompanying portfolio? More information is located in your Student Handbook under Hamline University Requirements for Administrative Licenses.

    Administrative Licensure without Teaching Experience

Find answers to commonly asked questions about obtaining an administrative license when you don’t have the required three years of classroom experience. Also access the state statute text MN Rule Chapter 3512 Licensure of School Personnel here.
