The academic foundations of the Master of Arts in Education: Natural Science & Environmental Education (MAED: NSEE) program are hallmarks of Hamline's nationally acclaimed School of Education. The program inspires through a focus on leadership development that taps participants' convictions and passions. It challenges through inquiry, reflection, and a strong focus on research. It transforms through a constructivist approach that draws on each student's strengths and experiences as vital contexts for learning.

MAEd: NSEE Highlights

• Total 35 semester credits
• Designed around four course categories: Foundations, Pedagogy, Knowledge, and Research.
• Features partnerships with the Audubon Center of the North Woods, Science Museum of Minnesota, Como Park Zoo & Conservatory, American Museum of Natural History and other prominent organizations.
• Online courses allow students outside the Twin Cities to complete the program in 18 months.
• Program can be complete in as little as 18 months.
