    Center for Global Environmental Education

For over two decades, teachers, students, community leaders, and concerned citizens have come to the Center for Global Environmental Education for inspired learning and outstanding educational resources.

The Center's pioneering work in environmental education is grounded in the tradition of progressive learning that has been a hallmark of Hamline University's School of Education. The Center's strategic use of technology creates and supports global communities of learners committed to the stewardship of local environments.

    Purpose:

To foster environmental literacy and stewardship in citizens of all ages. The Center accomplishes its purpose through four cornerstones.

    Four Cornerstones:

          1.  Graduate Education and Professional Development
          2.  Community Outreach
          3.  K-12 and Youth Resources
          4.  Educational Multimedia Production
