For over two decades, teachers, students, community leaders, and concerned citizens have come to the Center for Global Environmental Education for inspired learning and outstanding educational resources.
The Center's pioneering work in environmental education is grounded in the tradition of progressive learning that has been a hallmark of Hamline University's School of Education. The Center's strategic use of technology creates and supports global communities of learners committed to the stewardship of local environments.
To foster environmental literacy and stewardship in citizens of all ages. The Center accomplishes its purpose through four cornerstones.

Music Festival - Raising Funds for CGEE
Spring Music Festival. Whiskey Junction, Friday, April 25, 5pm to 10pm. Photo Booth by Snap Yourself!. Lamb Sausage. Opening music act - CGEE Director Tracy Fredin (guitar), Camille Fredin (vocals), and friends at 5:30pm. A portion of proceeds from the evening support CGEE Energy Fellow Kevin Clemens in his project to help people understand alternative energy and transportation by setting land speed records with his electric motorcycle.
