    Certificate in Book Arts

The Book Arts Certificate Program provides educators with the rich opportunity to experience historical and contemporary methods of creating book forms. The medium of book arts adapts to all content areas and levels of instruction. The book arts are an ideal vehicle to use in integrating literacy, reading, history, cultural connection and personal creativity into any curriculum.

Bookmaking is a logical component of integrated literacy learning. Encouraging children to make containers for their ideas suggests the value of their words.

    Program Goals
