Greta is the course developer and writer for Mindquest Academy. She was one of the three original developers of the Mindquest concept and of the proposal that received three-year funding from the Bush Foundation to create an online college prep program for adults.
Formerly the Director of Mindquest Academy, Greta has devoted the years since 2001 to course designing, writing, and editing; training ABE professionals in online instruction with Mindquest materials; and developing the College Prep program, a collaborative effort involving ABE and community/technical colleges.
Since 1965, she has also worked in the ABE field as a teacher in Minneapolis, program manager in Mounds View and Bloomington, and Literacy 85 director. As Literacy 85 director, she led the project's efforts to promote, develop, and support collaborations and cooperative efforts among ABE programs and other providers of adult education, libraries, and businesses.
