Peer Mentoring

THE BASICS:

PamJulie09

What is peer mentoring?

This is an opportunity for teachers, as equals, to reflect on their teaching and on learner outcomes with a shared context and purpose.

What are desirable outcomes of this project?

•  Improved involvement and outcomes for adult learners through the implementation of culturally sensitive, learner-centered teaching practices.

•  Improved instructional strategies by teachers in the community through more intentional application and reflection of teaching strategies in their own classes.

•  Enhanced collegiality and professionalism through collaboration with peers.
