How many gigabytes in a what?  Not sure you want your face in book?  Worried you will ask “ a stupid question” about computers ?  Don’t be.  This hands-on training will walk you through many aspects of computers and give you the confidence to take charge of your computer.

Moving successfully into post-secondary education can be a challenge to our students and transition level courses play an important role in preparing students to meet the demands of an academic environment.  Together we will explore the meaning of transition level teaching and learning, paying particular attention to constructing activities and lessons that integrate language and content learning with critical thinking and the development of the skills and strategies important to academic success.

3) Challenging Behaviors – Paula Freiermuth, West Metro Regional Professional Development Coordinator
Based on extensive experience working in the ABE classroom, Paula will share strategies for working with students whose challenging behaviors take away from the business of learning.  The information in this interactive session is relevant to working with adults, and can be applied in your classroom right away!  (This session addresses the relicensure area of positive behavioral intervention strategies.)
