Opportunities to earn graduate credit

Computer work-NW09
Because we are a program of Hamline University, ATLAS is able to expand opportunities to earn graduate credit for participation in longer-term professional development.  Typically, these options are offered at a discounted tuition rate.

1) Practitioner Research - You can now earn 2 graduate semester credits for participating in Practitioner Research.  Tuition costs are ½ for participants because this project is a grant-funded ATLAS activity.  In addition, pursuing the credit option requires no additional work beyond what you are already doing in Practitioner Research!

Below are the necessary forms and information for 2009-2010.  Please contact Kimberly Johnson, ATLAS Director, with any questions you may have.

STAR-Sep09
2)
STAR - Teachers and administrators participating in the STAR program can now earn 3 graduate semester credits by completing the training and doing a short reflection at the end.  As with Practitioner Research, the cost of the credits is greatly reduced.

Below are the necessary forms and information for 2009-2010.  Please contact Kimberly Johnson, ATLAS Director, with any questions you may have.

3) Adult ESL
Institute - Once again this year, you will be able to earn 1 graduate semester credit for work done as a follow-up to the ESL Institute at Hamline (also at a reduced cost).

Below are the necessary forms and information for 2008-2009, for your reference; the 2009-2010 forms will be similar and will be posted as soon as they are available.  Please contact Kimberly Johnson, ATLAS Director, with any questions you may have.

NOTE: if you need a copy of the reading, please contact Marisa Geisler.
