    Life After Hamline

"When you graduate from Hamline, there's no shortage of people to write you recommendations or find you career connections. It's fantastic to have coaches, advisors, and staff who know you and can recommend you to potential employers."

Major: Political science and English with a social justice minor

Occupation: Graduate student, University College London

Field of study: International politics with a focus on Russia and Eastern Europe

On crossing the pond: University College London's School of Slavonic and Eastern European Studies is a perfect fit for my area of interest. And London is a nice place to study just about anything- let alone international politics.

Future plans: I'd like to work for the United States Foreign Service, but I also may draw on my graduate dissertation -- examining global brands and brand development in Eastern Europe -- and be a consultant in the private sector.
