     ParALEGAL INTERNSHIPS

     All students in Hamline University’s Paralegal Certificate program must enroll in LGST 5900 (Legal Studies Practicum) and complete a 150-hour paralegal internship in an approved law firm or legal environment of their choice.

    Graduate Continuing Education

     Alumni of the Hamline University Legal Studies Department are invited to audit one legal specialty course for the purpose of continuing education. The course may be taken on either the St. Paul or Minneapolis campus. All courses are offered on a space-available basis. Alums may take no more than one course each academic year.

    To apply for a graduate continuing education course, contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at 651-523-2207 or admissions@hamline.edu. To request a waiver for the $100 course audit registration fee, email Judy Dehnel or call Student Administrative Services at 651-523-3000.

    • The Hamline community should be advised of some traffic congestion, parking restrictions, and areas of campus that will require a Hamline ID for access during the Minnesota State High School League Track and Field meet at Klas Field on Friday, June 7 and Saturday, June 8.
    • For the eight consecutive year, Hamline will host the Minnesota State High School League (MSHL) Track and Field Championships (June 7 & 8).
    • Professor Nancy J. Holland presented a paper at a conference on Diversity in Philosophy held May 29 - 13 at the University of Dayton and was also chosen to attend a workshop for the American Philosophical Association.
