Student ensemble performances

There are numerous opportunities for students to perform for a live audience on campus, whether in one of Hamline's ensembles at Sundin Music Hall or with campus groups. Whether you are a physics major, English and communications studies major, music major, etc., there's a place to express all of your talents at Hamline.

We encourage all students, alumni, and music enthusiasts to join us in experiencing musical performances at Hamline.

About performances

Cost: All performances at Hamline are free and open to the public.

Location: All performances are in Sundin Music Hall unless otherwise stated.

Sundin Music Hall is located on the Hamline University Saint Paul campus at 1531 Hewitt Avenue, next to Drew Residence Hall and the Drew Fine Arts Building.  [View campus map]

The HU Wind Ensemble goes to the movies for our spring concert April 27! Come hear thrilling, iconic tunes from Pirates of the Caribbean and Star Wars! Dance in your seats to Leonard Bernstein's hits from West Side Story, Candide and On The Town. Holst's Jupiter from the Planets and Grieg's March of the Trolls round out a very colorful and uplifting program! Free and open to the public.

Two hot-off-the-press premieres! Original compositions by Hamline junior AJ Grau-Kubista and up-and-coming Edina composer George Lundgren, who is on his way to conservatory studies. Two Hamline graduating seniors, Freddie Buergin-Witt and Charlie Rundquist, will perform the Vivaldi Concerto for Two Cellos. Free and open to the public.
