Appointments with the Dean
Before scheduling an appointment with a dean regarding a concern with a professor or a course in general, a student will need to have first met with:
- the professor involved
- the department chair
Before scheduling an appointment with a dean regarding a concern with course scheduling or transfer credits, a student will need to have first met with:
- someone in the Center for Academic Services, and/or
- someone in Student Administrative Services
Scheduling an appointment
To schedule an appointment, please contact Laurie Schwaab, assistant to the dean:
You will need to provide the following information:
- your name
- telephone number
- email address
- brief summary of the need for the meeting, including the names of all involved parties
Be assured that all information is kept confidential.
Both deans respond to student academic concerns. To ensure timeliness of a response, the assistant to the dean will schedule you with the dean who is the most available to speak with you about your concern.
Lateness/cancellation policy
If you will be late or unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please contact the assistant to the dean as soon as possible.
