I am a graduate of Hamline University and am very proud to call myself a Piper. While at Hamline I was very involved in a variety of campus activities. I served as an orientation leader, participated in student congress and worked at a number of on-campus jobs. My favorite on-campus job had to be working in the Theatre Deptartment Scene Shop as a first-year. Nothing like using power tools, a mig welder or a paint brush every Saturday morning to keep college life in perspective!
I recently moved back to St. Paul after a stint in Duluth, MN. I am very happy to be out of Lake Superior’s chilly winter reach, though I will miss visiting the gorgeous sandy beaches next summer (yes there are beaches, and yes, you can swim in Lake Superior). I would venture to guess that jumping into the icy depths of the mighty Gitchigume makes me a true Northern Minnesota girl!
