All scholarships listed are awarded based on merit (not need). Scholarships are separated into two categories: Academic Scholarships and Additional Scholarships. Students may receive one academic and one or more additional scholarships. Totals may not exceed tuition.
Hamline University also encourages students to apply for outside/private scholarships. Students receiving these types of scholarship dollars should notify the Office of Financial Aid about these awards so necessary adjustments can be made in need-based types of aid. Hamline University does not reduce the amount of scholarship dollars students are awarded from Hamline when a student receives outside/private dollars.
