Future Plans: I have finally settled on nonprofit funding!  I don’t know if it will be from the side of nonprofit, or the side of foundations…probably who ever will give me a job.

Favorite Thing About Hamline: The close relationship with professors. I cannot even tell you how many times they have given me some valuable advice about school or life or whatever! And they are for shiz the coolest people I know.

Random Fact: I am a fourth generation Hamline student! I did not plan that…in fact, I never wanted to come to Hamline just for that reason! But I got here, and fell in love…

Top 5 most awesome places to shop for clothes around Hamline:

Quince: I’m pretty sure this is the cutest/edgiest shop ever in life. But you pay for the unique and exclusive nature of the gifts, accessories and clothing here.

One World Imports: Although it sounds like this store would be a world-wide thrift extravaganza, it’s really a conglomerate of sort of reasonably priced fancy-wear and cute everyday-wear. For any woman who is bored with the Gap, this is a great place for you!

Marshall’s: I know, you might think "this isn’t an awesome place!" but it actually is. The brands tend to be pretty high end, the prices low and the stock turns over constantly. Almost too constantly…I drop a lot of money there! AND, they have so many different things, there is something for everyone here.

Ten Thousand Villages: This is shop that sells Fair trade jewelry, gifts and home decor from all around the world. You will never find anything more unique or beautiful than the jewelry here. AND your money will go to a good cause!

Wet Paint: Don’t lie…we all like to do arts and crafts every now and then! Art projects make for great community-bonding activities. And I have found it is a great stress reliever!
