This project question "what does movie making means to them?" because by producing a movie about their history ad struggles, they are able to gain support from other parts of the world.
- Seven Years in Tibet (1997). Directed by Jean Jacques Annuaud
A Story about tow Austrian climbers who were captured by the British at the stard of the Second World War. They escape to Tibet where one of them eventually became close to the young Dalai Lama and tutored him before the invasion of Tibet by the Chiense.
- Kundun (1997). Directed by Martin Scorsese.
A story of early life of Tibet’s spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, from recognition at age two as the reincarnation of Buddha to his forced exile by the Chinese government that took place in March 1959.
