Dorothee Dietrich, born and raised in Germany, earned her B.A. degree in Psychology ftom the California State University-Humboldt in 1984 and her Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1990.
At Hamline University since 1990, Dorothee teaches Social Psychology, Experimental Psychology, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Testing & Measurement, a Seminar on Human Aggression and FirstYear Seminars. Dorothee's primary research interests are in the area of self-handicapping, although she has engaged in a wide variety of collaborative research with students, ranging from perceptions of crime to road rage.
