Professor O'Reilly is an associate professor who has been teaching at Hamline University since 1989. She was formerly the director of the Paralegal Program at Des Moines Area Community College where she had been a student prior to enrolling in law school. She practiced law with the Iowa firm of Babich Bennett Nickerson in the area of constitutional law and civil litigation. She is actively involved in civil rights work and alternative dispute resolution. She is the prelaw advisor and coach of the mock trial team. She has taught fifteen of the Legal Studies courses offered at Hamline.
