How to Use these Grids - This grid has two major uses:

Use 1. Identify Lessons in Support of Specific Service Projects Use the grid to look up activities according to which ones best support a particular service project. Organized by grade level.

Use 2. Identify Service Projects That Follow from Lessons - After you have chosen the lessons you will use, browse the grid to see which service-learning projects fit with those lessons.

• To match the curricula, activities on the grid are clustered by the following grade levels: K-12, K-3, K-5, 3-5, 3-8, 4-5, 4-12, 5-6, 6-8, 6-12, & 9-12.

In addition, you can align projects with demonstration-based graduation standards (from Minnesota's old Profile of Learning) - Use the grid to look up activities from the Environmental Resource Guide (ERG) according to which activities best support a Graduation Standards Learning Area.
