Sequential Degrees Earn an additional graduate degree from Hamline School of Business and broaden your career choices. Our new sequential degree program enables an alumni who completed their master’s degree within the last five years to complete an additional master’s degree within the School of Business on an expedited timeframe (28-30 credits depending on the degree sought as opposed to the customary 48) and also receive our 10% alumni tuition discount. For Master in Public Administration (MPA) and Master in Nonprofit Management (MNM) Alumni Nonprofit Management (MNM) or Public Administration (MPA) degree (28 credits)—Students returning for an MPA or MNM degree complete 7 courses (6 core and 1 elective from the new field) in the new degree. A review of their previous transcript will determine which courses are required. Business Administration (MBA) degree (32 credits)—Students returning to earn the MBA degree complete MBA modules 2, 3, 5 and 6 for a total of 32 credits. Students may choose to take additional MBA electives if they want more depth in a particular field.
