Degree Options

The program offers three options to accommodate your schedule as a working professional:

Traditional Model

Enrolling in the traditional model on the Saint Paul campus allows you the flexibility to complete the program as either a full- or part-time student. Take 12 four-credit courses in 14-week terms, and complete the program in two to four years.

Cohort Model

The cohort program, offered at the Minneapolis location, offers you the opportunity to develop lasting professional connections with your peers. Complete 12 four-credit courses in eight-week terms over two years. 

Online and Weekend Program

This option is designed to give working professionals outside the metro area a master's degree in public administration in two years. It combines online learning with weekend residencies every eight weeks.
