    Addressing the Income Gap Through Job Creation

    This full day program will focus on reducing the income gap through job creation as well as the areas that support work such as education, transportation, and housing.

    The morning keynote address by J.R. Burke of Polaris Corporation will discuss the company's efforts to create new jobs in Minnesota. A lunch keynote address from Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Times reporter Hedrick Smith will complement small group sessions from dynamic leaders in the field of community economic development to create a multi-sector approach to the key issues in reducing inequality.
