Apply to the DPA: Doctorate of Public Administration Application Deadline Applications for the Doctorate of Public Administration must be received before April 1, 2017, to ensure consideration for admission to the fall 2017 cohort. Application Process To apply for the Doctorate of Public Administration, please submit the following: Online application (no fee for U.S. residents). A professional résumé or curriculum vitae. A two-page personal statement detailing why you’ve chosen to apply to Hamline University, how the DPA will help you meet your career goals, what policy areas interest you, and why. Official master’s degree transcript (you must have 36 credits in a master’s program to apply) with 3.0 minimum GPA and a bachelor’s degree transcript from an accredited university. Transcripts must be sent directly from the institution to the Graduate Admission office or provided in a sealed, signed envelope. You do not need to supply transcripts for courses taken at Hamline University. Three letters of recommendation detailing your qualifications to pursue advanced study written by people who are familiar with your academic and/or professional history. A sample of your academic or work-related writing, at least three pages in length, written solely by you in the last two years.
