The Hamline School of Business is pleased to facilitate a new program that will give students in our Master in Public Administration (MPA) and Master in Nonprofit Management (MNM) programs the opportunity to work with leaders in the public service field. The Public Service Mentor Program will allow students to learn from an industry expert who will offer wisdom, experience, networking, listening, and support.
Invitations have been sent to potential mentors to lend their guidance and knowledge to the program. Students interested in being paired with a mentor should complete an on-line application form.
This formal relationship will last from November 2009 to May 2010. Students will be contacted with more information upon completion of the on-line application.
Mentors have a similar form to complete that gives Hamline and the students a biographical background to facilitate successful matching of mentor to mentee. Mentors, please complete the Mentor Online Application form.
The 2009-2010 program launched on November 4 with students and mentors coming together for their initial meeting and to go over the mentorship handbook. Students should watch their Hamline e-mail for more information about the 2010-2011 program.
