The Bush Library Home Page

This lesson will introduce key components of the Bush Library Home page. You will learn about the resources available for your research project and where to find information about the Library's services.

The Bush Library Home page serves as a starting point any time you need to do research. And, since it is on the World Wide Web, it is accessible from anywhere, anytime; students and faculty can do much of their research from their home or office.

The easiest way to get to our home page is to go to the University's home page at www.hamline.edu. Navigate from the main menu (on the left - under Libraries) click on the link for Bush Memorial Library

What is primarily online is the traditional library tools used to identify information for your topic: the library catalog (to identify books on your topic) and journal indexes (to identify articles on your topic). The actual articles are sometimes online, the actual books are occasionally online.
