Bush Library is pleased to offer students, faculty, and staff the following services:

Interlibrary Loan 

Bush Library ILL service is available to current students, faculty, and staff of Hamline University's schools, programs, and centers. Hamline law students, faculty, and staff will be referred to the law library for ILL assistance.

Reference Desk 

Get one-on-one assistance and instruction on finding materials on your topic, locating a specific journal, requesting books or articles, setting up your RefWorks account, and more. The reference desk is also your go-to contact for problems with the proxy server and other off-campus access issues.

Research Tools 

Learn how to streamline your research, stay up-to-date on the latest research in your field or topic area, and organize your sources. We can also show you how to get the most out of the library's databases.

Information Literacy Instruction 

Bush Library is committed to advancing learning outcomes for information literacy. Working collaboratively with classroom faculty, the instruction sessions provided by the library are designed to help students use information and technology competently and responsibly.

Digital Collections 

Bush Library now offers departments and programs a stable, web-based digital repository. Digitized collections can provide significant added value to support teaching, learning and scholarly research while also highlighting Hamline’s unique intellectual or archival property.

Liaisons are available for subject-specific research assistance and instruction. Please call or email librarians to set up individual or group appointments.
