Description: InfoTrac is the name of the database service provider which serves up 10 databases provided through the Gale Group.

The following indexes are available only to authorized Hamline University users.

Expanded Academic ASAP Plus Index a multidisciplinary index containing full text of scholarly journals, popular literature magazines and newspapers.

The other InfoTrac databases are part of ELM (Electronic Library for Minnesota) and are available to all residents of the state. See specific descriptions below.

• Junior Edition an index of magazine, newspaper and reference content for middle school users.
  
• Kids Edition  an index of magazine, newspaper and reference content for elementary school users.
  
• Student Edition an index of magazine, newspaper and reference content for high school users.
  
• Kids InfoBits - an index of magazine, newspaper and reference content for Kindergarten through 5th grade users using a visually graphic interface..
  
• Discovering Collection - Reference content in the areas of Literature, History, Biographies, Science, and Social Studies, appropriate for users in grades 6-12.
  
• Junior Reference Collection - a cross-curricular database covering science, biographies, authors, multicultural topics, and people and places for users in grades 6-8.
  
• Informe A collection of hispanic magazines with full-text. This index is searchable in both English and Spanish.
  
• Professional Collection - A collection of journals and trade publications for educators and teachers.
