Description: This index is a full text database comprised of 175 periodicals and other publications that focus on the impact of gender across a broad spectrum of subject areas. GenderWatch supports programs in business, education, literature and the arts, health sciences, history, political science, public policy, sociology and contemporary culture, gender and women's studies and more. Publications include academic and scholarly journals, magazines, newspapers, newsletters, regional publications, books, booklets and pamphlets, conference proceedings, and government, n-g-o and special reports. GenderWatch contains some archival materials from the 1970's, making this an important repository on the historical perspective of the evolution of the women's movement and the changes in gender roles over the last fifteen to twenty years.

Description: Google Scholar covers peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, abstracts, and other scholarly literature from all broad areas of research. You'll find works from a wide variety of academic publishers and professional societies, as well as scholarly article citations available across the web. Google Scholar may also include multiple versions of articles, including preprints. Most article citations require connecting to the Hamline University proxy server to be routed to the library to obtain access to the full text of an article when it is available.

Grove Music Online has been the leading online resource for music research since its inception in 2001, a rich compendium of music scholarship offering the full texts of The New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians, 2nd Edition (2001), The New Grove Dictionary of Opera (1992), and The New Grove Dictionary of Jazz, 2nd Edition (2001), as well as all subsequent updates and emendations.
