Description: The Literature Resource Center is designed around three major literary research tools, which Bush Library currently owns in print format only; Contemporary Literary Criticism, Dictionary of Literary Biography and Contemporary Authors. Designed originally for students of literature, this database offers a wealth of information that includes criticism, biographies, bibliographies, work overviews and explications. Also included are web sites, periodical articles, compare and contrast pages, full-text author's works, and reading lists that are useful in many disciplines. This product is considered by some to be the premier Internet resource for information on literary figures from all time periods writing in such genres as fiction, nonfiction, poetry, drama, history, journalism, and more.

Users can search the product by literary author's name, title of literary work, keyword, critic name, by classifications such as genre, literary movement/time period, nationality, ethnicity, gender, date of birth and/or death or by Literary-Historical Timeline Search.
