Editorial
A new newspaper for a new nation
Welcome to the East Timor Herald, the new English language newspaper
for East Timor
It is our wish and our intention to contribute to the development of
the country and to
the informing of its people, in this Internet edition, and eventually,
a paper edition.
The newspaper will have news from East Timor, from the region and from
the world, but it is much more important that it be a forum for the
new nation, for the expressions of opinions in letters and articles.
We will be writing our own material, but we will also need material
from you, too.
That's why we welcome articles and expressions of whatever opinion
that you have.
